Rocky has been practicing patent law for over 20 years. His practice emphasizes patent prosecution, opinions, due diligence investigations, counseling, and planning in the biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and medical science fields. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in areas including molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, immunology, and organic/polymer chemistry. Specific applications relate to gene and cell-based therapies, chip-array technologies, transgenic animals and plants, artificial organs, drug discovery, pharmaceutical compounds, immunodiagnostics and therapeutics, imaging reagents, novel polymers, medical and biochemical instrumentation and devices, and organic synthesis.
