Occhiuti Rohlicek & Tsao LLP (ORT) was founded in March 2007 by three attorneys who bring almost fifty years of combined intellectual property experience to their practice. Frank R. Occhiuti, J. Robin Rohlicek, and Y. Rocky Tsao have established a client-centered firm that benefits from each partner's prior experience in his technical field.
ORT prepares and prosecutes patent applications using an individual client-focused approach to the practice. Leveraging the depth of intellectual property experience at the firm and working directly with clients to understand their specific business goals, ORT serves domestic and foreign companies ranging in size from small start-ups to multi-national companies. In addition to patent procurement, ORT also serves its clients in developing and managing their intellectual property assets, preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, performing due diligence and product clearance studies, and conducting pre-litigation analysis.
